Anywho, the bari sax parts in a lot of the pieces for symphonic band are really sweet (Aside from the fact that Josh plays them). Blue Shades for example, had a really great Bari Sax part, having a lot of the melody with the Tuba. There was actually a bari sax solo in that piece. Of course, I think he might have been reading the Oboe part for some of it.

I'm sure I've seen this topic a previous time it was created. Anyway, when I was in band, I played the oboe and the clarinet, but I haven't in way too long now, and I liked it.

Piano and hopefully a drum set since I've been practicing and getting better on keyboard drums, but I wouldn't mind learning how to play snares either.

lol i play alto sax in school band. i started this year. i wanted to do percussion but i couldnt. i'm not really into the whole school band thing and i wanna take up key boards to be in a techno band or get vocal lessons. if non of those work then i wanna do drums in a hardcore band. ^-^

They are not the ONLY cool instrument. They annoy the sh!t out of me when people just bang the hell out of them and don't play a single rhythm.
