Why don't you download it and find out? It's not very large at all.

Hell, just read the thread and the page he linked to.

It's a plugin for [insert the media player you use].

It makes all your music/sound that you play on it sound about 75327476329765462837573257325x better.

It is definately worth it, and fairly small. Unfortunately you can't put all the settings on full unless you get the registered version which costs $$$.

im not impressed, it doesnt make songs sound better...it just muffled my sound...it was the equivalent of me putting a towel over all my speakers and sticking a tennis ball in my subwoofer

What kind of music are you listening to? O_o It should make everything sound a lot better if you have it on the "Light Processing" preset (the only one available on the non-registered version).

This did nothing that some tweaking of an equilizer can't do. It's utterly worthless.

Why? How do you think this plugin does anything that adjusting the equilizer cannot do? I turned it on and off on different types of music, with different EQ settings, and never found that it did anything but adjust some levels. Exactly what an equilizer does.

Edit: combine that with sound card based DSP functions, and there you go.

iTunes=lame. Winamp is where it's at. If you don't have Winamp, you should.

I'm guessing it's for people who don't have godly soundsystems.

On my main computer that is rigged up it doesn't make much difference, on my cheaper computer with a cheaper soundsystem it makes a lot of difference. For instance, it does things like creating resonant tonal pairs to emulate lower bass sounds than your speakers can create by themselves, thus boosting bass on cheaper systems and the like.

This program isnt all that. The equilizer built into winamp has much better ability to adjust.

A better solution is to get a good pair of headphones and remove about 10-15% of the midrange. It gets rid of that "noise".

In fact, it works better than this program. A testament to simplicity, eh?
