Mmm. I'm worried.

I don't know if it's just warioware (since that's the only game that's been in the console this entire month) or the console itself, but it's taking forever to start the game up these days.

Like I click "Play Game" from the Wii Menu and it fades to black and loads the disc. Then it'll be 30 seconds to 3 minutes later before the game actually loads.

Hoping it's not a faulty unit. Hoping it's something that I can fix myself, easily.

Mine does that from time to time. I haven't paid enough attention to know if it's a consistent problem. I'll keep it in mind now. If it persists, I'll call up Nintendo and see what can be done.

So anyway I was looking through the list of upcoming Wii releases. Here're some I stumbled across that seem like future purchases to me.

03/20 Cooking Mama: Cook Off
03/27 Kororinpa Marble Mania
04/09 Super Paper Mario
06/01 Mario Party 8, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Project H.A.M.M.E.R.
07/30 Guilty Gear XX Accent Core

Can I get a "Wait, what?" on that last one?

And guess what this list is missing? Galaxy and Brawl. Among others.

Man I'm gonna start losing money fast.

I never realized dogs were that much more popular XD maybe I just know more cat people... and of course the Internet's (or maybe just 4chan's >_> ) obsession with cats everywhere.

T_T I miss my dog.

Anyway, I haven't noticed a problem like that with my Wii... but I haven't been playing it all that much lately, really. Have you filled up a lot of your blocks or something? I dunno. Hope it's not a big issue.

I already went "Wait, what?" for Guilty Gear on DS, and that one ended up sucking. Oh well, we'll see. XD

Wanna place bets on what percent of Wii owners get it?

I'll say 10%, or 500,000.

I dunno. Maybe, just maybe, you make up the 90% of people who I don't think will buy it.

I never owned the game. I was supposed to get it when I pre-ordered Wind Waker but Best Buy screwed up and never gave me Master Quest. Back when I had the N64, my sister decided to get Banjo-Kazooie instead of Ocarina of Time and the console was hers so I had no say.

I've beaten it several times, obviously. EVERYBODY had the game, so it's not like I couldn't borrow it. I even borrowed Majora's Mask and beat that.

**** that ****. I want Super Smash Bros and Yoshi's Island. Super Mario Allstars would be pretty cool, but I doubt they'd do that because it'd probably kill sales of the NES games that make them up. [edit: I haven't checked out the shop in like a week, so don't fault me if I'm a little behind the times here.]

ps will not be buying OoT because 3D Zelda is mondo gay. Hell, I didn't even buy LttP because I already have the GBA version and I don't feel like playing through it again anyway.

I might get OOT for VC since I loaned my N64 cart to someone two years ago and haven't seen it since....I got it for 7 bucks about six months prior to that at a Game Crazy.
