Heh. This little riddle I made myself.
There was a man whose wife cheated on him. He got so angry that he pushed her down a cliff and ripped her body into pieces. Where is this man? |

IT depends on where it lands. If it lands on sharp, jagged rocks, he would be at the top of the cliff. There, the body would be ripped into pieces. Of course he could also have had jackals, wolves, blah blah blah...
But he can also be at the bottom of the cliff. He could have pushed her down, climbed down the cliff, and shredded her with a chainsaw or some-such nonsense. It all depends on what is down there. Nothing, sharp jagged rocks, spikes of metal protruding from the ground... It could be both, logically.

How in blue cheese, would you get that answer from that riddle? How could you possibly work that out? If that's the case. Any answer could be true. So heres mine. The guy orders a pigeon and then kills himself because one day when he was little, he said to him self, "I'll eat a pigeon before I kill myself". However he never new that the future held every relative and close friend to die in a horrible nuclear blast. He couldn't live with it any longer. So true to his word. He eat a pigeon. Then killed himself.

Here is one (you may have heard this before). Two coins equal thirty cents, one of them is not a nickel.

The only problem with riddle threads is that they're often just a regurgitation of common riddles that at least someone's heard before, so it's more of a storytelling/waiting game.
Try finding some more original ones to keep some real thought going. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

spyke is hanging out on a heavily forested island that's really narrow: it's a narrow strip of land that's ten miles long. let's label one end of the strip A, and the other end B. a fire has started at A, and the fire is moving toward B at the rate of 1 mph. at the same time, there's a 2 mph wind blowing in the direction from A toward B. what can spyke do to save himself from burning to death?! assume that spyke can't swim and there are no boats, jetcopters, teleportation devices, etc.. (if he does nothing, spyke will be toast after at most 10 hours, since 10 miles / 1 mph = 10 hours)
Assume he knows basic survival skills, and that he doesn't want to die, i.e. the answer is not "Let him go drown to death so he won't burn to death" |

well if its an island there will be a beach so all he would have to do is go as far into the water as he could without having to swim.
if this is right someone else can take the next one. |
