Why did you choose the answer you did?: It has been my dream to find cures for deseases that plague the world today.

Why did you choose the answer you did?:As stated before, I'd like the responsibility. Also, getting into med-school and graduating is a big accomplishment.
Why didn't you choose the other answer?:I definitely would regret not at least trying to become a doctor.

Hypothetically, if you were to persue a career in medicine, would you rather study to become a doctor or a nurse?: I guess that's technically both...I'd rather be the doctor.
Why did you choose the answer you did?: because then you get to make the decisions, plus the big bucks.
Why didn't you choose the other answer?: Because I'm a nurse/vet tech now, and although I love what I do, I want to be higher up on the ladder, make the decisions that matter, and save lives by doing more than taking orders.
Would you ever seriously consider a career in medicine, if money was not an issue?: Up until today I was! I changed my major today because I cannot handle the requirements for a pre-med Bachelors of Science degree...I'm going off to get a Comp.Sci. degree instead and then going to get licensed as a vet tech. And then maybe, someday, I will go back and finish so I can go to vet school.

Why did you choose the answer you did?:I chose nurse because I would still have the chance to be around people from all backgrounds. As a nurse I would probably have quite a bit of time to converse with the patients and learn people's "stories" (but this is also the reason for psychiatry... also I'm really interested in the human mind)
Why didn't you choose the other answer?: I would have that stuff too as a doctor but as a nurse I won't have to deal with blood and guts (depending of course on what kind of doctor I would be. not a very specific question :O)edit: also the huge workload as a doctor. nurses have to be on call a lot of the time too, but not nearly as often as doctors and they don't need to come in as often as doctors either.
