Fuck. I have to change that now that I realised this is for people wanting to make stepfiles to submit to FFR.

Flash can't handle gaps correctly because of the difference in framerate.

So, if you want to make an FFR file, set gap to 0.

Then you will be okay.

If its not for FFR, find the correct gap.

Mmm.. somethings wrong. I followd your tut to the letter, and yet, stepmania refuses to aknowledge that i have any songs in my stepmania songs folder =/

In NKs tutorial, he mentions some other things which need to be placed in the head of the .dwi file which you neglected. Need i enter these values, as well (such as the dos name of the mp3)?

EDIT: Neeeevermind... notepad kept adding .txt at the end of .dwi, cuz its a bitch. Fixed that, though ^_^

#FILE: isn't needed unless you have more than one MP3/WAV/OGG in the folder.

i know how to make em and all but i have trouble making awesome ones...i make ok ones i guess becuase ive been doing them for a while...but i do NOT know how Arch gets his simfiles so dead on...

how exactly do you get the music you want on to the editing program? and where do you put the information? (song, artist, etc.)

Does the song always have to be an MP3 ifd you are using stepmania?
