Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
If you haven't seen it yet, there's a new Engine with a goal of creating a series of isolation to practice on, technical files etc. This thread was made for requests, feedback, suggestions, discussion etc. regarding this new Engine. You can even post scores if you want or point things out that we may have missed.

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
You guys can suggest certain sections of files that are already in the game (ie CP Megatrill) or technical files (ie 240 bpm jumpstream) and we will try to get them into the engine.

And by this it could be anything as hilarious as 301 bpm 16th stream to Gucci Mane music

haha, just played the Mathsma isolation and AAA'd it on my crappy laptop keyboard. I guess I won't be having much trouble when I use an actual USB keyboard on that one, hm?

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
Well as far as I know (and Hakulyte might have other plans, I don't really know), we were going to keep this engine strictly FFR songs and technical files (pattern files with no music or something to simply help keep rhythm). It would keep it somewhat professional and from getting cluttered. Honestly, if we just throw a ton of random files in there it becomes an FFR stepmania or a simfile database engine of sorts.

Difficulty 1 would be an isolation file. (specific sections in ffr songs) Difficulty 2 would be a technical file. (specific files to practice a pattern) Difficulty 3 would be warm up files etc. (other files for fun purpose/warm up (?)) Something like that.. (can be discussed) By the ending of OMGWTFTOK3N, do you think you could play through the file, save the replay, and watch it until that moment you want it to be isolated and take a SS? It would help me figure out when to exactly cut. ..with Club I'm assuming skipping the intro and starting right before the whole jack section until the end? Also, updated. Quote:
If you hadn't made a thread about isolation and uploaded all these cuts, I wouldn't have so many songs in-engine right now. If you didn't give away a step by step guide for converting etc. I wouldn't even have reached the point where I can edit files/convert and turn them into an isolation. If Velocity hadn't helped me out for making the engine work online, I would probably still be raging at why songs don't appear for everyone. I also pretty much copied Dossar for getting the website up, so it's not like it was amazingly hard to do. Justin_ator started things up on forums while I was still trying to figure out how to convert files etc. At first I was like, hey calm down bro, I'm still learning stuff.. but actually, he made me realize that if we started that thread now, you guys might be able to help me out in some way, requesting, testing, etc. qqwref volunteered to help out and geez, he definitely knows a lot of things that I don't and he's been fairly helpful so far so, I'm happy to see him around. Oh btw, the site and everything was created yesterday, it has been like a huge spontaneousmania of nonstop "hey I know this and you don't" and me being like oooooh~ interesting! /lol history Congrats, I no longer know if I am suppose to make an isolation for them or not. Also, I have a request - the alternating jumpjacks in AIM Anthem. I'm serious >.<

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
This is one of the best FFR features I've ever seen, even if it is non-official.
Ending of OMGWTFT0k3N? The last third or so is harder than the first two-thirds.

AIM Anthem is a must - it's completely infuriating for spread players.
