Mahjong
Japanese Riichi Mahjong :] It's a game we enjoy at #kbo (irc.chatspike.net), playing casually and some of us from FFR have even gone through the depths of the many rules and scoring systems in Riichi Mahjong. If we could manage to learn the basics, you could too!
Here are some sites we play on: http://www.mahjonginmame.com/ (recommended to read the whole website at least twice) http://www.mahjonginmame.com/yaku.htm (All sorts of hands) http://mahjong.wikidot.com/basic-rules http://mahjong.wikidot.com/rules:rii...rules-overview (Riichi scoring rules) Introduction to Tenhou (for those who don't understand how to get around menus/register) http://arcturus.su/tenhou/ Want to get started and play? Re: Mahjong
I don't understand everyone complaining about this. From what I understand, flash drains battery life. I don't like when people complain so much without thinking about the reasons why they wouldn't have it. Nintendo isn't the best company ever or anything, but they do what they do for a reason and you can't really call it stupid for them not implementing flash on a portable system that already has a low battery life.

Re: Mahjong
Used to play with my grandmother. She was nasty at it, me and my cousins lost all sorts of pocket change to her.
I forget like 90% of the rules now though

I used to play Mahjong sometimes back in the day, but it's been years and years... so I gues my answer is no, unfortunately. :c

Re: Mahjong
I was actually going to try it out because a friend of mine gave me a computer disk for it. I play Mahjong Titans on my laptop all the time though. (Don't know how they correlate with one another, just figured I'd throw that out there.)

Re: Mahjong
I'm pretty sure it's not the same type of game. I think you are talking about a game where the pieces are on the board and you just have to find matches from what's already there. (no hands, or other players)

Re: Mahjong
Yea it is. I've never played just Mahjong before so I really didn't know. From the SS's, they're all the same tiles. The biggest difference between the games Mahjong Titans is just a single player game. Never knew :P

Re: Mahjong
The only things you need to read are the numbers 1-10 on the tiles, the wind directions and your dragon characters.

Re: Mahjong
I'm fine with the tiles, it's more this:
Where do I go, what do I do? etc. |
