Default Harry Potter 6!

I for one am very happy it is being released TONIGHT. I am going to try to pick it up eaither today (if I can get there early) or tommorow, before it's sold out. I think that we all have waited long enough for this book.

Is anyone else as exited as I am?

Like the others, it's going to be rubbish. Mainly because JK doesn't put enough detail into her stories, causing you have a bit of trouble figuring out what's going on. She also is very held back when it comes to her action sequences, you don't really get the feeling of action.

The only way it's getting on the NY Times bestseller list is by the rabbid fans grabbing it off the shelf.

PS-I consider Tolkien's books far superior to JK's

Rubbish? That really hurt. Besides, it's on my summer reading list. Even if it's stupid I still win.

I'm going to the midnight release to pick up my reserved copy, and obviously Starshot, you haven't taken the time out to read the books, because JK Rowlings books are very detailed. Especially this series.

I love it. I love Tolkiens books too. I think I just enjoy reading.

Anybody who waits in line for hours or goes in the middle of the night just so they can get something 12 hours earlier than someone else is a gigantic tool. And that's not just for HP books, that goes for movies and everything else.

For the record, HP books are good, and I have read them. But people are treating them like the next coming of Christ, and they are in no way deserving of the praise. Media hype steals the show yet again- HP is like the Halo of the literary world.

I never knew LD read. When do you have time to read LD? lol. I want the book even though I haven't read the first 5. I only saw the movies that came out.

Doesn't being an active part of a forum require a lot of reading?

But I know what you mean Just had to point out that he has to read.

Either that, or he's an amazing internet psychic.

Don't read the 5th book then. If you read it without reading the previous ones you will think some things will be out of wack. The movies<The Books.

WTF!? That's a pretty weak prize!!! We had a Halo 2 tourney at our school and out of about 20 teams or so (It was 4 vs 4) we got 1st place and won $120... And our tourney wasn't even sponsored by Microsoft... haha

I hate how the first chapter is always like *recap* and then *okay now story*, it feels like I'm wasting my time. But if I get a ride, I'm getting it tonight.

He meant the 6th. He meant that you should read the others in order before you read this, otherwise it won't make sense at ALL. It will ruin the first couple, as well.
