EternuS v2
Hey guys,
I am planning on making an EternuS v2. The v1 was great, but I want to make a v2. So, I am asking how many people would like to have an EternuS v2. I will give you all 10 days to decide whether or not you wish to have an EternuS v2. |

Re: EternuS v2
If you're going to make a v2, PLEASE cut it! EternuS is waaaaaay too long.

Re: EternuS v2
Yes, the first one was basically the same the whole song. Change it up a bit.

Re: EternuS v2
It has the name eternus for a reason. It's supposed to be long. XD
I'd like a v2 with more interesting rhythms. The entire song of 12ths put me to sleep. =/ |

Re: EternuS v2
Well, seeing as some people favor an EternuS v2...I will start making the file.
And, Jtheanonymous, you didn't put in your vote... |

Re: EternuS v2
My vote stands neutral until further information on cut is announced.

Re: EternuS v2
My take on this:
I believe the song should remain at full length. I have actually already started a v2. However, it's been difficult finding interesting ways of making the patterns flow, and I'm kind of stuck now. |

Re: EternuS v2
There needs to be a v2.
My file for it is a lot more interesting and challenging with variety than hi19's version of it, and I stepped it for pad XD lmfao

Re: EternuS v2
That's because in DDR, patterns don't have to necessarily "follow the beat". But if you submit a file here and it gets out in FFR, lots of people would be complaining about how come the steps don't follow ever single beat of the song. I'm strongly against that, but this is how the public at FFR sees a stepfile. If it doesn't follow the beat, even if the patterns are extremely creative and fun, people will hate it.

Re: EternuS v2
My files /always/ follow a certain theme. Be they KB or Pad, I simply see Padfiles as an excuse to make easier than normal kb files.
Eternus wouldn't make a good KB file anyways imho. Such is the case for most trance songs.

Re: EternuS v2
*shrugs* i'm naturally opposed to v2's unless they need it... otherwise the file better be pretty darn good, different, unique, and of a different difficulty.

Re: EternuS v2
STOP POLLUTING FFR WITH USELESS V2s!
Second versions should be STRICTLY for offsync, or generally extremely disliked files. Eternus wasn't that bad...

I'll tell you now...that even though the steps were good, some people still want a v2.

Re: EternuS v2
V2's are not really necessary unless V1 was subpar, and V1 here was just fine. I'd rather see a new, well-synced, fun song than an Eternus rehash

Well, how about we both try our best to get to the v2, hm?
