Default Quebec elections - killing mrs. prime minister.

So yeah, I was watching the Parti Québécois winning the elections, and also, first woman prime minister ever in Québec! Pretty good night I must say.

Then comes this lunatic that made a bomb explode and tried to shoot her. A tehnician got killed and another dude is now in a critical state. I watched that shit live.

Thoughts?

I'm not for the PQ really, but I'm glad the PLQ's out and that Pauline Marois mentioned Quebec's independence (just before the sound bomb lol).

As for the violence, I can't say I'm actually surprised, the tension was already pretty high. Plus with the police already hitting students and giving the killer a blanket, what the **** are we supposed to expect! I don't know why anglophones are about to kill themselves here, if they always thought Quebec was a province just like any other, then why don't they just move to another province? We don't need any more trouble here, and this election is just the beginning unfortunately/fortunately. People who were against our student movement because it was so ''violent'' (didn't kill anyone or anything) are now wanting to make us go back to October '70 or something

The bomber looked pretty weird when arrested. Just a plain wacko from what I can tell.

As for Quebec's independence, that's another matter I won't go into.

Was nice to watch it happen live, the bodyguards acted rly fckin fast to get Pauline to a safe spot (took like 5 seconds x.x) but then like Stage said, no Biiig surprise though. Can't wait to see what she'll do this year, gonna be interesting.

Time to move to Quebec. Seriously. Go left. I'd be happy to lose this shite Stephen Harper, David Alward and the rest of conservative Canada. Je peux parler en francais si c'est necessaire.

Oh wait, someone died because she won? Damn right wing crazies.
