Anyone go to Ohayocon '11?

I just got back from my trip and was interested whether anyone else from FFR went; if so, what where your impressions?

I had an amazing time there this year but the largest problem seemed to be no-shows for the panels. In fact, I went to the "Making quality StepMania/DDR files" panel which, to my surprise, not only had the panelist missing but also had me as the only attendee for a good 30 minutes (lol). I got there about 5 minutes after it started with 2 guys sitting on the stage in the panelist seats, not doing anything.
After a while, they asked me if I actually came here for the panel, informing me that they just came here to tell the actual panelist how he has no idea what he was doing. Since there was nobody else, it was effectively just me sitting right in front of the panelists in giant room. (I know someone snapped a picture of that from the entrance, but I don't know if they'll ever post it on the forum) Regardless, after some talking about how you shouldn't create files over your own skill level, I got out my laptop after the one other attendee actually came in and joined the make-shift panelists.
He got some questions about BPM and stuff answered until the 45 minutes mark when the original panelist came in and awkwardly got his panel back. That guy had absolutely no idea what the hell he was doing and couldn't even get the editor to start; waste of last minutes. He was also hosting the Sonichu panel; I hate that guy.

tl;dr Ohayocon SM panel was weird.

Also really enjoyed the "Let's Read Hentai Out Loud" panel.
So how about you guys? :3

SM panels eh? Never thought those things would ever work. At least, in Anime North the panels USING stepmania were for the entire con for us to PLAY in (pad). Well, there I get my packs in for shameless advertising >.>

Sadly, there were no places to actually play SM (or rhythm games for that matter) this year. There were 2 (bloody two) Pokemon panels one after another taking up one of the game rooms and the "K-pop/J-pop/Just Dance" things took the Hayes room all day. As a side note, I was displeased with the Toonami panel and how it was almost entirely composed of "Do you remember that; yeah that was cool. How about that?".
