Lucky New Year

Call it luck. Call it karma. Call it whatever you want.

So anyway I gave a dollar to a homeless man. Later on as I was walking down the street I found ten bucks. Yeah I don't believe they're related events or anything but it was just a nice turn of events.

In a way it was his lucky day (he got a dollar) and it was my lucky day (I got the ten dollars, minus the dollar I gave him, so nine dollars)

a guy at work dropped a hundred dollar bill as he was counting his money, so I grabbed it and gave it back to him

he called me a "saint" and I proceeded to get really sick within 48 hours
