What's wrong with my keyboard!?
Ill make this post short and sweet.
Holding down right shift does this ===>.............................................. Pressing right ctrl opens up the Find box like ctrl+F should. What the f#!k??? EDIT: Left ctrl does absolutely nothing. Left shifts just fine.

Re: What's wrong with my keyboard!?
Raven, I'm assuming you're using a QWERTY setup? If so, check to see if any of your keys are stuck together. If holding down your right shift causes period spam instead (they are fairly close to each other), that's likely a hardware problem.
You see, keyboards are built such that each press of a key activates a certain combination of wires that tells the computer "okay, this key was pressed, so I have to show this character." It's quite possible that sometimes, one can get confused for another. (See the plight of arrow-key users that complain about getting beeped at when they try to hit hands and quads.) If you have a pressurized air duster lying around, this is almost ideal for you to try to clean out what's ailing your keyboard. It's cheaper than springing for an entirely new board, at least. |

Re: What's wrong with my keyboard!?
My guess is also for spilling on it and messing up the circuits. Happened to me once and my keys didnt do what they were supposed to.
