Is a person who takes weed and gets high once a month addicted?
I'm asking because i know someone who does this and i want him to stop, he says he's not addicted but then why does he do it?

I think dependent is a better word. Once a month isn't very often so I'm sure if he wanted to he could stop.

I smoke weed every once in awhile, and I think "addiction" is extremely rare (maybe non-existent) in weed smokers. So if he/she is doing it only once a month, that's fine. just tell him that he shouldn't move onto any other drugs. The reason I do it is because it gives me a cool feeling, relaxes me, and (not sure about this but it seems like today it did it for me) makes me better at sm/ffr lmao, although probably only the first two reasons apply to your friend :P

Don't you think that sentence is a bit extreme? I mean sure if he moves on to more dangerous drugs i could see it possibly ruining his life.

rofl at age 13. My bet is you'll eventually get addicted/take it a lot. If you're having a bad day at ffr, you might take it to get better. Keep doing this cycle etc.

not harming myself. If I drank/smoked cigarettes maybe I would be, and I know alot of people my age who do and I don't like it.

I don't think you're mature enough to be able to know if you won't get peer pressured into a situation in which you'll use some other drugs.

Anyway, uh, once a month? That's not bad. If they wanted to stop, they could, but unless they try other stuff, I wouldn't be worried. Marijuana could actually be a good thing, it's not that bad. My friend smokes at least a bowl every day, and has been.. for years. There really isn't anything you could do, and coming to the internet for advice on that kinda stuff is pretty dumb.

Why don't you try talking to your school counselor? Your parents?

um. marrijuaan is not an addictive drug xD it has no addicting properties, only mentally addicting xD lol. in cigs there are tar, nicotine, etc and other addicting things, which makes them addicting

marrijuana has none of these nad is only addicting if u let urself get addicted mentally xD once a month isnt anything, that is less 2 owrry about than smoking a pack of cigs once every month xD lol

It doesn't have any addictive properties. But it doesn't have any "addicting" or "addictifying" or "addictificationitiledadedationing" properties.

And tar doesn't make cigarettes addictive. It's only the tobacco's nicotine.
