Looking for ITG rival
I'm looking for a rival who:
- Will give me a challenge - Plays often (At least once a week) - Is fine using MSN or FFR messages for discussion, relaying scores, etc - Is somewhere close to my level (It's no fun always winning, it's no fun never standing a chance) On pad, I can: ~99.20% 6s ~99% 9s ~98% 11s ~97% 12s ~92-95% 13s ~80-85% 14s Can't pass 15s On keyboard, I pretty much 99.00 - 99.75% everything worth playing. If you're interested, and are comparable to me, I'd like to have you there to push me. It'd be even better if we could play in person (Toronto, Canada), but I don't expect anyone reading this to match that level of specificness.

Re: Looking for ITG rival
I play around once a week, my scores are a bit lower than yours in the lower ranges (9-12) but are a bit higher in the upper ranges (13-15), and I figure someone who has passed a few 15s can help you out as far as what to play. I wouldn't mind. =)

Re: Looking for ITG rival
I have to take a look at a lot of these scores but I definitely have higher scores on the upper level songs. I'd work on fixing scores like LED X and Determinator. A common problem for most people is not that they can't move fast enough, but more that they can't comprehend the exact patterns that they have to do.

95 on Summer Expert is pretty good. You should still play alongside of us.

Re: Looking for ITG rival
Got 99.00% on Tribal Style last night, 99.38% LED G (Hard, 9).
I may be better on difficulty, but you have me beat on accuracy, Komi. Even if you're a touch worse, it'll bring nice balance to the ownage Halogen is going to lay down in front of us. XD I'll see if I can touch those scores, though it'd be a stretch. Tried to up my Determinater last night too, but didn't come close. I'll focus on LED next time, aim for 85-90%.

Re: Looking for ITG rival
I shall be taking a look.
I guess this'd be a good place to link our sims up that can help us train, yes? EDIT: Maybe we can make like an ITG community thread similar to the solo thread. My only problem with this is that there aren't enough players. =( Last edited by TC_Halogen; 10-22-2009 at 11:51 PM.. |

Re: Looking for ITG rival
There's an ITG community in Toronto, but almost all of them are anti-social, or jerks. I refuse to get involved with them -.-;;
I'm unsure if it's just the community here, or ITG players in general, but... it makes me a little unsupportive of this idea, lol Example: http://rgcanada.com/forum/viewtopic....t=8446&start=0 Whine whine whine whine whine, lol Please tell me, is it just Toronto? Is it ITG players in general? Just people in general? This is why I had to make this thread - refusing to get to know them IRL. XD Trying the simfile.

Re: Looking for ITG rival
rg canada sucks lmao. hate that place ;_;
we could make a list of active itg players and keep the first post with new files from duders here etc. make challenges and such, i think it's an idear. |

Re: Looking for ITG rival
By the way I seen the Rottel chart. Not too bad but jesus christ the last 2/3 of the chart is really jumpy.
I do want to try it though. |

Re: Looking for ITG rival
yeah i mentioned the jumps are kinda aids at one point but it's more stamina draining than anything. only one jumpy part is hard (the long jack with jumps added) rest is just jump and dodge haha.

Re: Looking for ITG rival
I still want to make that ITG player hub on here. My only issue with it is that it would die out kinda fast since it seems like most of us here don't play ITG more than once a week.

Re: Looking for ITG rival
if it was stickied we wouldn't have to go fish it out every time we go weekly haha
but it depends how many of us actually play (3 i see so far) |

Re: Looking for ITG rival
I play more than I should, haha. 1-3 times a week.
Today, played for ~2,000cal without breaks. XD Four 14s, mmm. ^^; 99.28% on Light Emitting Diode G (Hard, 9) No other scores worth mentioning.
