Rise to Honor
Although an older game for an older console, I thought that Jet Li's Rise to Honor was a pretty good game.
The storyline was a little bit vague and just how you expected it to end but the game play, at least the fighting anyway, was very unique. I like to see a game that lets you run and filp off of walls in the middle of fighting 8 guys. I also liked the fact that you could fight 8 enemies all at once and still stand a chance. The super power Kit Yun had where you slow down your enemies time and increase yours was a little unrealistic. Though it was good for racking up a large amounts of combonation hits, it was a bit too unrealistic for me. Overall, for me, this game gave me what I wanted. A challenge but nothing impossible, and a good fighting system. Instead of a little one-button fighting style, you could direct your punches and kicks with the analog sticks making you the real fighter. If any of you have played this game I'd like to know what you think. -Peace out -o24

Re: Rise to Honor
I think I borrowed this from somebody, or a relative rented it or something. I remember it being okay but hating the gun parts. Especially when you're like, dual-wielding ****ing nailguns of all things, which don't really shoot nails at high velocities. Well, at least the handheld kind can't.
PS: I would've liked the game 1000000000% more if it was Jackie instead of Jet. Jet Li suckssssssssss.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
