7th piano solo
So here's the story. I thought I would do an Autumn Leaves arrangement. I assumed I could put that on my CD. Turns out the author has to have been dead for 50 years. It's been 42. That means I spent 2 weeks not composing anything, thinking I'd improvise.
Plan ruined. Fresh out of ideas. I figured I'd attempt to improvise classical. Took all day for a measly 2:35 of music. I'm somewhat satisfied with it, but I may revise it. Let me know what you think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pBbO0UVxtI

Re: 7th piano solo
So far, I really like all your pieces For this one, I'm puzzled a bit as to what you could improve. I find the left hand to be a bit repetitive but then again, that's what gives a special feeling to the the song. So, maybe you could add only a tiny bit of variety now and then.
I'm not that talented in composition, so that's only a feeling. Take it as it's worth Btw I wanted to ask; Is French your native language ? |

I did 3 or 4 variations in the left hand, if you focus on only that. The variations last a while namely because it sets the tone of the "march", but I get what you're saying. Haven't had much time to focus on developing this song.

I've been trying to give this album a variety of vibes, while still remaining somewhat melancholic/dark for the most part. I've been sampling ALOOOOOOOT of CDs from other artists online and one thing I noticed is the complete lack of originality in the chord progression or the songs overall. As if very little effort was being put in their songs. Trying to get away from that as much as possible.
