.swf Background animation

So I'm going to step a song that comes with a flash animation in .swf format.

I want to put this flash animation into the background, but stepmania seems to only allow .avi files.

Is there any other way than converting video format to solve this problem?

If there isn't any, recommend any good software for mac, please.

I wanted to do this, but found that it was too much hassle and very difficult to convert clean vector flash into choppy pixelated video without a large reduction in quality

Here's what a recommend you encode it into AVI:

Dimensions: 480 x 360
Bit rate: 1024 kbps
Encoding: DivX or XviD

This always works fine with my own Youtube videos. Doesn't look too much like crap even when full screen and in high quality. Helps to keep the space usage to a decent amount too.

Well I managed to get around it.
Created new Flash project and imported swf file to the stage, exported as QuickTime Movie, opened the video with QuickTime and exported as .Avi file.
