I think it’s not RSI now, but fatigue from low estrogen.
Sooo… I used to have a good bit of stamina. I could play somewhat taxing maps in taiko, and I had pretty good stream stamina. But now, I have barely any of the stamina that I used to and even 180 1/4 drains me quick and I end off with a D.
I used to have some muscle in my arm from, well… you know what (I cant even do that to other people for that long these days). It wasn’t much, but combine that with a lot of streaming and mania gameplay, and it made it possible to have such stamina. But now, ever since HRT has truly started to take hold (and I’d assume a little less gameplay contributed as well), I’ve had less stamina. I can’t even hold a mouse for very long. I’m not sure how to fix this, or how to go about bringing my former stamina back… I do have a video of me streaming euphoria somewhere, just to prove that in 2017, I could stream properly. And I do have a dash hopes video from May of this year as well, as well as maybe some other replays on my dead account. I could appreciate any advice here. I need some help bringing my arm/finger muscles back to speed… Edit: guess I’ll revive this thread since I got temp banned. Don’t want it to happen again. So, after some deliberation, it is likely not rsi, but rather fatigue from low estrogen. I know this because it isn’t one specific motion that lacks stamina / hurts, but it’s more like everything to do with my body. I can barely even run anymore. I sincerely hope that the injections help me out a little bit. Edit 2: injected with estrogen. I feel a little bit more excited, we’ll see how it goes :3 Last edited by QueenAshy; 11-13-2018 at 06:40 PM.. |

Re: How to regain lost stamina?
I find that by simply transcending the fabric of the spacetime continuum, one's stamina level can reach brutal plateus.

Re: How to regain lost stamina?
It's true though. You just play more to get more stamina. Builds muscles and whatnot. There's really no magical way to regain lost stamina. Muscles are muscles.

I mean, I was thinking maybe handweights… but I don’t want to get all jacked and lose my feminine aesthetic. I’m kinda conflicted and unsure |

I don't see how that would effect your feminine aesthetics, but okay...

Re: How to regain lost stamina?
1) It's very very likely not an HRT issue as Tosh has already said to you in one of your like 4 other threads about this.
2) If you really have RSI like you have also said in one of your 4 other threads about this, you shouldn't be playing for long anyway unless you want it to get worse? 3) If you don't really have RSI, then what everybody else said. Play more. Last edited by Gradiant; 11-10-2018 at 02:47 PM.. |

I could potentially be able to play this game again soon!
Yeah, so my computer broke, but the squaretrade claim is already filed, and they’ve got back to me, so it’s only a matter of time before it gets fixed. I know some people were a bit worried when I said that my GF had fallen off the bed onto my computer, and I’d like to let them all know that it’s not the worst.
Anyway, I have yet another appointment with pp. I called them yesterday, and they initially told me “you’re not ready for an appointment for another month.” Me, being sick and feeling terrible from low estrogen, replied with “my dose is not doing what it should be. My dysphoria is getting worse than it should be, I’m feeling depressed, and I have no way to fix my fatigue from low E. My STARTING DOSE HASN’T EVER BEEN CHANGED, and i was supposed to get my levels and get it switched 2 months ago. An appointment IS necessary.” The receptionist I guess understood, and she said “we have an appointment available on Monday at 10:30 (I usually wake up at 14:30, this is gonna be a bit hard to make”, and I took it, because beggars can’t be choosers. Hopefully, with my new E dose, if I get a new E dose, I can actually start to recover my stamina, and if my computer isn’t replaced by then, I could start playing malody mobile in the mean time to help recuperate, maybe by starting with easy taiko songs. To be honest, I’m kind of excited, but I’m not getting my hopes up too much, as they very well could waste my time and not change my prescription like they did before. I really really hope that they raise my E dose to the proper levels. I want my stamina back, and I want to start playing this game again… |
