i wanted to put a thread like this because i felt like it and i was bored. There are only 5 choices that i picked randomly on the poll so dont complain to me saying why i didnt put ur favorite anime.

I only put Evangelion because it was the only one of those (aside from inuyasha, which coincidently, isn't anywhere near "good") that I've seen.

That said, FLCL is obviously the best. Excellent visuals, short enough that it leaves you wanting more (this is definitely a good thing), great music, likeable characters, I don't know. It's just excellent.

Evangelion is only not as good as FLCL because FLCL has MUCH better visuals. It too has a great plot, but it's more realistic visuals just make it not as entertaining for me.

Bleach? Honestly, I don't see why anyone is really into deep it; from what I've seen, it doesn't appear to have any depth.

Inuyasha is a typical show that goes on for longer than anyone with half a brain would be willing to watch and has no depth at all. If they wanted to do something with those characters, it should have been like... a single movie or something.

Eureka 7 sounds ok (plot-wise) but I just can't take it seriously because of the skysurfing mecha.

Also, you left out a ****LOAD of noteable animes. Crayon Shinchan, The Super Milkchan Show, The Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex,Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG, Gigantor, Paranoia Agent, Samurai Champloo, s-CRY-ed, Trigun, Lupin The Third, Yu Yu Hakusho, Blue Gender, Kikaider, Reign: The Conquerer, Case Closed (Detective Conan), Witch Hunter Robin, and Wolf's Reign, as well as The Animatrix, Metropolis, and Read or Die.

There is only one version of Evangelion. It uses Cruel Angel's Thesis as the OP and different versions of Fly Me to the Moon as the ED.

PS: E7 is by far the best anime on AS, since it is the best anime ever made. Too bad the dub sucks. Anybody that doesn't like it is pretty dumb.

Actually, I can't speak for all of them, but the FLCL dub was without a doubt the epitome of good dubbing. The only changes to the script were for Japanese puns and pop-culture references.
