yes you can go by the beat. You just have to learn where the good window is, and its not really that hard, the good window is huge dude... the marvelous window is fucking puny. Do you know how hard it is to not hit 1 arrow off by like 0.01 of a second? Unless you're playing on judge 1 or the song is really easy, its really hard. Im pretty sure i've only gone as low as 6 or 7 perfs on max300.
