Q, organic food is not necessarily more expensive than nonorganic nor does food being organic have anything to do with how it's "kept" but rather how it's grown. And artificial foods aren't always created to be healthier, for the most part they're made to be bigger and more consistent. Also organics are only tangentially relevant here, but whatever.
Vegetarianism... meh. Fine by me. A lot of the people I know are vegetarian. I don't think it's provably healthier nor do I think it's provably unhealthier. The ethical issue is interesting... but frankly I just see it as humans needing to ingest other organisms, whether plants or animals or fungi or whatever.
