I got FFX around last March and after i got a little less than halfway through I stopped because it was boring me to death...I started playing again about a week ago and It's got the same flaw as FFIX; it's too easy. Though FFIX was a lot better in my opinion...but FFX really didn't have an interesting storyline to me, and I'd have to agree with my brother on what he said when I was talking to him over the summer; the only good thing about it is the graphics. I missed the battle system and the characters annoyed me (except for Auron, he's cool). I think VIII beats all but that's just my opinion, I haven't beaten 1-6, but I've played a few of them and I liked what I played.

Started playing this again myself, I'm at the Macalania Forest.
They're all great games but my favorites are 7 through 10..The older ones are good too, but i dont have a tolerance for 16bit or 32 bit games anymore(Chrono Trigger excluded.)You'll never walk alone.Comment

Yeah pretty much, i think that the creators of the game were more worried about the graphics than anything else. So they probably neglected the story line until 5 days before their deadline and quickly finished it up, but then they realized they didnt do a good job so they made FFX-2.Originally posted by saeran_moon_elfI got FFX around last March and after i got a little less than halfway through I stopped because it was boring me to death...I started playing again about a week ago and It's got the same flaw as FFIX; it's too easy. P.S.- FFIX had the best story line of them all!

Lol, yeah, FFIX had a good storyline, I'll admit. But it was far too easy and had too much dialogue. I liked the characters though, Zidane was awesome...As I said, I'm pretty attached to FFVIII. I loved the characters, all the plot twists, and the storyline blew my mind. My friends are all VII addicts but haven't played VIII, and my brother says I just liked VIII best because it's the first one I played. I'm wondering whether it does have to do with which one you play first...Comment

I hated FFX. I just hated everything about it. There were too many cinematics, it took too long to max out your characters, and it just sucked. The good FF games where FFI, FFII, FFVII, and FFIX. One and two because I have both for gameboy and FFI for nintendo. I like FFVII because it was the first final fantasy game I got and It was the first one I beat. It had an awesome storyline and I could follow it without the ," Omgzor I'm not real, let's jump in the huge fire pit!" If Square-Enix would remake that game for Ps3, ps2, xbox/360 I think it would have killer sales. I like FFIX because it was the second one I got, had awesome graphics for its time, I beat it without trouble, and it had an crazy storyline. But FFVII still pwns FFIX.

It has everything to do with the first one you play. Thats the only reason I like FFIX the best, because it was my first played and first beaten. Plus, i loved how the story played out, and even how it ended ( i mean, who would have thought that there was a whole 'nother race of people with blonde hair and tails?, plus the crystal place was awesome, good balance of enemies too)Originally posted by saeran_moon_elfMy friends are all VII addicts but haven't played VIII, and my brother says I just liked VIII best because it's the first one I played. FFX to me was all just a huge challenge.
I think when i finished everything in the game i had 250+ hours.
I did manage to beat Neslug and nemesis along with every other monster.
You have to quick hit the helll out of nemesis then sacrifice aeons on Nemesis' turn. For neslug you need wakkas final blitzball and you have to overdrive and match up perfectly so exactly 12 hits land on the slots.
After 12 hits hit him once more and his shell breaks
And that chocobo bs was hard but youll eventually get it.
You should def give the 1st ones a go through though.Comment

Err....you know this hasnt been answered for in a few months o_o.
Hard my ass. FF10 is one of the easiest.
Nemesis is easy if you do the aeon trick.
The hardest is probably Greater Sphere. At least because hes so annoying.
And Jumbo Flan is probably the longest boss battle in the game.
FF10 was my first ff I played. I never used to play videogames. Don't blame me.
250+ HOURS?? MY GOD! My file is only 213:23 and I beat it years ago!
Ff10-2 was Okay, but not as good as I would have liked.
Anyone got tips for lightning dodging and the butterfly game? Those are the ONLY THINGS in the game I have not yet done, other than maxing out my Characters. i'm on my way though. 3 people at 255 strenght def. and agility.Comment

My friend loaned me FFX and I finished it in about 40 hrs, 10 of which were probably spent playing blitzball. And then I gave it back.
250 hours?!? The longest I've ever spent on a single play through was Ogre Battle 64(45 hrs).Comment

Esupin, I can never trust you again. 30 hours spent playing the main game is pretty much impossible. He who angers you conquers you. ~Elizabeth KennyComment
