There are plenty of RPG's worth playing. Some of the Final Fantasies were good. 1 or 2 were amazing. I found Tales of Symphonia really fun the first 3 times. Kingdom Hearts is pretty good, but not many people take it very seriously. And the amount of MMORPG's...that will bring up a lot of conflict so maybe we'll just stick with the consoles for now.

No. Even a speedrun would be 6-7 hours long. Not to mention that FF7 is a pile of boring garbage that no one intelligent would watch, let alone play.

FFVII is one of the best games ever made. Stop whining becuase it's too hard for you.

I could probably beat FF7 at the lowest levels possible. There are very few RPGs that even approach remotely challenging nowadays, and FF7 certainly isn't one of them.

Well it's still fun, people shouldn't automativally hate things because many people like them. FF7 may have been on theeasy side, but it had a good story.

No it didn't. The story is almost incoherent, riddled with needless profanity, and generally just bad, compared to pretty much any other RPG.

ff7 is a bit over rated, however its production values, plot, and general care toward its making revolutionized the genre. So, while it may be over rated, it certainly isn't complete crap. And 99% of rpg players will agree.

Honestly, I didn't think FF7 was the most amazing game ever, even when I was playing it for the first time in 97. I found FF8 to be much more than 7 was in ever possible aspect. However, FF7 did revolutionize the RPG genre and broke RPGs into the mainstream, a crappy game could never have done that. I'll admit, the story does have loopholes and things left unexplained, but i'm sorry, if you can't handle a story unless it's completely and utterly finished/explained/worked, then you have no imagination whatsoever and should probably get that checked out. Not explaining everything leaves stuff for fans to discuss during and after playing the game/reading the story. The same thing happened with Evangellion, no one could accept a completely open ending, and they called it shit. So they ended up making movies to fill in and "explain" for the people who need to have things concrete or their heads explode.

That's a whole other topic though. Anyways, everyone knows that Moogy tries to be badass; it's old news. If he thinks something is shitty, let him think something is shitty... it's not like he's ever created something that wasn't shitty...

lol I have to agree with moogy. The only reason people love FF7 so much is becuz they played that one first. I played FF9 first and thought it was the best ever but then played all the rest to find out they are all equally good. Some were more confusing than others but still all out good. Also, if sum1 STILL can't beat a boss from a like 10 year old game, then just put it away....

P.S. SMRPG Roks!! Got through that thief in the beginning in like 6min of starting the game =)
