Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna vote someone that's talking about the setup instead of players, but that's kinda mean.

Do you mind elaborating on mean? Don't if you do not think it is a good idea.

that's a good point tbh. i felt bad for missing the first essentially two days of thread and wanted to contribute something, even if ultimately useless atm

what else can we go off right now but vibes? that's my vibe list. most of them are "I don't know" but that's realistic for me all throughout the game. i get called out for it a lot and i don't care. i'd rather contribute my smallest thoughts now so that i don't regret not saying something later.

the biggest point i think i want to make even if i do get voted here is that a few people have been quick to say "haku definitely town" based on their posts and i think that's a mistake. if anything that gives me EVEN MORE reason to not let them slip by unnoticed. i'm not saying their posts look bad, i just want to encourage everyone to not narrow in on an alignment for anyone yet, especially after one post.

Well, will you review with me what people have said about Haku so far?

I think it's safe to say you've got a town vibe on Haku, so does this just stick out as fishing for reaction? Or an attempt to get reads?

I feel like Haku would use it for the latter, but I have no idea how it would work. Hell, I don't even know if it's worth digging into.

I was just thinking about how Haku really takes the whole "a game about nothing that you make something out of" to heart and just goes for it. I love that about how Haku plays lol

Reaction mostly. I feel like that's a good portion of why Haku is doing what they're doing with his votes, and I think that - whether Haku is towny or not - it's a good thing to do. Vote early, and gauge from there, instead of scrambling in the last bit as per usual.

I'll trust the others' judgement if you're just known to play like this, but you're already on the defensive and to me that's extremely sus.

The argument about Haku (to me) is that it's weird he would immediately put himself in the spotlight like this and I feel like a scum Haku wouldn't play this way right off the bat, but I don't think he is locked town for anyone. You do however sound like you say this because the logic applies to yourself, as you coming in and dropping a bunch of "feels" (they're not that) like this definitely looks terrible and you know it.

But, again, maybe it is legit your way of trying to make a worthy contribution when there is essentially zero information available.

Sidenote, everyone... When do you guys think we should ask for inno child/friendly neighbour claims? Could help narrowing down the setup, and if someone claims, there's a 1/2 chance we have a doctor to protect it. Of course someone could bluff, but I think it could be advantageous to consider it

If Haku's I guess standing out to you as somebody being overlooked, what is your mindset for not voting for them or pressing them more directly (unless I missed it)?

Is there anything that I quoted that comes off to you as more likely disingenuous in the posts above? More because of the reads that I have developed outside of this, the most likely agenda surrounding Haku for me (if there is one) is T-Force using Hateandhatred's Haku read to press him.

Wolves know the entire setup I assume. Bluffing about stuff in this game won't work. You just want to play clean here and look at player interactions and vote the player you're the most uncertain about to get info.

Talking about the setup gives information about the setup, but not the players. It's an easy way to pretend to be doing something. It's fair if you don't understand the setup, but if you do and you're just asking others about it "for asking" then it's kinda sus to me.

Bug and I have... 31,181. So, no, I don't know how to "exploit" your's. At least not in comparison to someone whom I've spent a lot of time chatting with and learning who they are.

You give me too much credit. My thought was like.. 30 seconds, lol.
But yeah, I thought their reaction was desperate, in a sense.
Like, they were very worried about arriving late - and thinking that EoD was tonight - which makes me feel like they felt pressure to show up and provide content immediately (see: reads list).

10 seconds per reason, not bad. And do not worry, the exploit comment was mostly for my own amusement.

i'm also weary about people talking about setup, but more so because there's a stigma behind it rather than the actual problems it presents... i'm also entirely in the dark about the setup, i've read it what feels like a million times and still don't understand, but i think that's.... partially the point? i don't think it's worth talking about d0, maybe even d1 just because of how perplexing it is.

tldr, i am genuinely curious about the semantics of the setup too but don't think we should spend any further time discussing it today. people pushing this: why?

Bugkid, if you want to help me with understanding your motives. I think I decided the uncanny valley for me with your messages is that you interpreted yourself as being behind, when hardly anything had happened. Which should be a scarier prospect if you are town, that it is an 50-post omega crapshoot and you have to vote soon. It is not so much the thoughts list as the "tldr, i want y'all to know i am reading posts but obviously there's not a TON to go off of atm" statement. There is also a timidness to asking "is it weird that hatred has 3 votes on him..." ?

I don't really want to vote Haku lol, so far I want to vote bugkid the most for that completely ass reads list and his defense minded response to me calling him out.

I just want to make Haku talk more and press him because I think it has a chance of being helpful, especially if more people get into it. I wouldn't say he is overlooked, I have said stuff about others as well when given the chance.
