Been pinged a couple times by Ben Briggs and "Street" on Twitter about PLEEG, so I did some digging and we are allowed to use their music, as long as FFR stays non-commercial (no sale / distribution of music) and we credit / link to them.

They also mention being ok with music usage in videos in general via the about tab on their YouTube page. They also play a massive role within NoCopyrightSounds (NCS).

If you like Video Game, 8-blit genre-mix music, similar to something TOKYO MACHINE might cook up but with different genres, this might be for you.

Yes you can! BUT, read this first:

You MUST put our name in the video title if the song is used for more than 60% of the video
You MUST put a link to our channel in the video description
You MUST put a store link to the song(s) used in the video description
You CANNOT make money using our songs as they are protected in YouTube’s Content ID system, this is non-negotiable
You CANNOT upload lists, compilations or any “X Hour Videos” of our music either
You can play our music on your Streams, BUT we ask you to simply give credit and shout outs when appropriate. Some songs may be muted on VODs, we will not grant clearance per basis, it’s the “risk” run with streaming with our stuff. Sorry for the inconvenience!
If you try and monetize a song of ours you will get an ID Claim. Do not worry, this is not a strike on your channel.
You can license a song for a one time use and monetize the content that way. Fair warning, license fees start at four digits.

Permissions for Shadrow, a video game music Youtuber. While it doesn't explicitly give permission anywhere, all of their content on Bandcamp is labeled as "CC-BY-NC 3.0" which works for FFR, and covers their entire catalogue of music that they've put out. But just to be safe, check their Bandcamp first.

Give Heart Records label permissions via YouTube 'about' tab. Known for having NateWantsToBattle, Ghost Fight, Shawn Christmas and Boy Hero all together. Also contains some Panic At The Disco. There's a lot of English dubbed anime openings that are on the table now from this as well.

shirobeats permissions get via their SoundCloud description, allowing for their music to be used as long as they are credited and linked to. They corroborate a lot of big 'featurette' collaborations and all are available under their SoundCloud, so there's a lot more here brewing than just shirobeats.

Bear Ghost limited permissions obtained via multiple socials pointing to Pretzel for usability. We're only allowed to use songs that are listed on their 'Pretzel' page. "AAAA" limited permissions as per their Official Website. TL;DR Songs released on the internet are good to use. Do not use anything that isn't released on the internet. E.g, if there's a CD release with exclusives or content NOT RELEASED DIRECTLY BY THE MUSICIAN on the internet, then it cannot be used. An example of this would be the first YouTube video linked below (Music currently used/copyrighted by Maimai).

AAAA is a renowned BMS musician known for their cutesy art style and being the first of three musicians within 'Ahicha', with the other two being Hino Isuka and Umeboshi Chazuke. (Ah = AAAA, Hi = Hino, Cha = Chazuke). They are responsible for 'Our Journey and Epilogue', 'Sayonara Cosmonaut', 'carnation' and 'echoes of wind' currently being in-game, and hopefully many more with this floodgate being open. They have many rhythm game-centric songs across many different video games including Maimai & Arcaea!

I am also a massive superfan of theirs and ashamed that I didn't see this sooner on Twitter.
