Just a quick bump to say I have received no response from Materia Collective, and it's pretty unlikely that we'll get permissions for anything because I have been informed (since my contact e-mail was sent out) that they were contacted in the past, and they generally do not provide permission out to content on their label without a yes already obtained from the music artist directly.

We still have permission of Toby Fox, since they haven't reached out to me or made any attempt to contact me about it. But also, probably contact others directly on that specific label if you want to use their songs in-game.

I got clarification from DM Ashura on song usage. It actually remains more or less the same as before. The stipulations were not clearly explained originally, but they are these:
- songs with licensed samples cannot be used.
- remixes specifically of Konami-related material are not allowed.

Because one cannot determine the former point just by listening to the song, DM Ashura will still need to be contacted to verify songs for stepping. As such: contact me or DM Ashura directly to request a particular song to be stepped, and I or he will get back to you.

Limited permission from LuzeriA to use the songs in his SoundCloud account for non-commercial purpose which:
- do not contain "Remixed";
- are tagged with "#LuzeriA" or "#luzeria";
- are not crossfade samples;
- are not "full size" (if it's under 3 minutes then it should be fine).

Posting image in regards to this permission get as a means of saving a physical screenshot of said stipulation on permissions from the linked website, in-case the website ever dies/deletes itself/changes and becomes non-visible.

For blanket/catalog permissions for sync/micro-sync, our licensing deals and minimum guarantee requirements begin at $10k annually. Please let us know if this is of interest to you, and we can discuss further.

Blanket permissions for Ducky as long as the song falls within her label Play Nice! EDIT: Quackhouse/Ducky/Ducky Songs also falls within her label (some older stuff is listed under these on Spotify/YouTube) and thus are also part of the blanket!

You can see certain tracks such as Oxygen (Deadbeats label) and Don't Give Up Still (spinninrecords.com) would be off limits unless we got permissions from those labels.

I have an update regarding the permission status of Hardcore Underground. This is a well-known hardcore label that surprisingly was NEVER utilized on FFR. In addition, the original stipulations for permission were more specific than most permissions:

Permission details
• Add a frontpage post about Hardcore Underground upon release of a song. (I am able to write this when a song of Hardcore Underground gets released)
• Contact Hardcore Underground prior to each level going online so they can provide background information for a front page post.
• Provide them a link to the game so they can see their songs in the game.
Permission Type: Blanket for anything distributed on HU Digital and HU Breaks and Hardcore Underground Vinyls. (Tracks on the mix CDs are licensed for inclusion on the mix CDs, and they don't have further distribution rights unless they own the tracks already.) Courtesy of _.Spitfire._.

Now:
- adding a front page post is NOT a requirement anymore.
- you do NOT need to provide a link to them to the game.
- _.Spitfire._ (Nullifidian) no longer has any relevance, so please do not bother him.

An important point that still stands is the ownership of any particular song by the label, as it may not always be clear cut. Gaz of Hardcore Underground wrote to me:

Not all Fracus & Darwin tracks are owned by HU, and not all HU tracks involve Fracus & Darwin, so who you would need to clear each title with would depend on the track in question. I don't forsee any inclusion being an issue however.

Permission should now be stated as such:
• Contact Hardcore Underground for any song you may want to request for consideration.
• Provide pictoral proof of the song(s) you got permission for when submitting a chart of course.

Alternatively, you can also ask me to ask them on your behalf for any song you may want to request. That may not be a bad idea.

And please note, these folks are VERY busy and often take a while to reply, or forget to sometimes. So it's a matter of being very patient, and if they forget (after a couple of weeks or months etc.), just politely provide a gentle reminder.
