Have a bullshit reads list that I summoned via demonic circle:

Mario- I'm wolf leaning because you've been all over the place and a little aggressive imo (I'm pretty sure I'm the only one thinking that)
Sanzath- More than likely town. +1 for the Haku wisdom you blessed us with
Yoshi- I have no idea who you are which makes it weird, not to mention you were prepared to sling Dragon to the sun for not even posting once. I'm very conflicted about you. Null for now
Antori- Probably not a wolf but if he's lurking in the shadows as one, he completely forgot to make his own presence known to all of us which I think is suspect
Raeko- AFK Raeko is probably beneficial for us newer players so that way she doesn't come swooping in to massacre us all.
Sven- You're town as fuck. You've been really helpful for the newer players and I, for one appreciate it a lot
GS- Dicks. Butts. and Dicks. You're a chaotic towny who would steal from his own villages candy supply.
Dragon- I had you as a wolf who wasn't sure how to react at first, but you opened up to us which made things way better for you. I'm very convinced you're town.


If I have to vote, then I'm probably going to say Antori because of potential bad play.

Honestly, from the phrasing/tone alone in this post, it could just be dragonmegaxx. "opening up" is a weak reason to be "very convinced" someone is town

Honestly, as to Yoshi, I wouldn't put it beyond shadowgod to nullread his partner? Seems like a safe way to go as a wolf when your partner flips wolf and you can say "hey look I always was iffy about them!"

And that seems like an interesting way to interpret his read on raeko? I wouldn't eliminate the possibility that she's wolf either, but her not voting at EoD in a way that saves shadowgod seems like a good look to me

I don't really have you as a possibility for the reason I already said, you and him voting each other as partners would be weird

I'd also say Antori's out of the question, since shadowgod voted him before you

my current feeling, from most wolf to least, is dragon > yoshi > raeko

The terminology is making it tougher to understand exactly what people are sometimes saying. Or I’m just dumb, which could be very true.

reads are basically what someone thinks another person's alignment is. There's Town, and there's wolf.

leans mean they are more likely town than they are wolf in that person's read.

reads list means a full list of everyone in the game and where the poster thinks everyone ranks on whether they are town or wolf.

To "read" someone is to say what alignment you think that person is. There are different levels of reads - to just "lean" is to weakly think they're that alignment. I think "hard read" is a way to say that you're very certain someone is X alignment

To "null read" someone is to say you don't really know whether they're town or wolf. Sometimes people say they read someone as "null leaning X", so interpret that as "don't know, but more probable to be X than not X"

So like, for example taking my current position:

I think GS and MN are town, so I'm town reading them (pretty hard in fact - it would take something pretty suspicious for me to think either is a wolf)

Antori is more of a town lean - so I'm kinda reading him town, but it would take less than the above two to turn me around on him

Kinda null leaning town on Raeko - I do have reason to think she's town but I want to see more posts from her once she gets back from the cottage

and right now I feel like wolf is between you (dragonmega) and yoshi, so you're my wolf reads (leans I guess?)

The thing is, once you know someone is a wolf, you know their reads aren't coming from a place of trying to solve the game, you know it's about furthering their agenda to lynch townies and survive to eventually win the game. So usually, when you're a wolf, you don't read someone based off of some reason, you read someone to further your game plan, then come up with a reason that fits that read.

So basically, the reason he gave to nullread you isn't actually that important to me. I suppose if the reason looked very out of line compared to his previous posts on the matter, then yes that's a red flag. But that's not really the case with any of his reads, I think. (I'd have to check his post history to make certain of this)

I mean from my point of view, it's more likely that shadowgod did a super hard town read on a dragonmega partner than it is he did a null read on either you or raeko, but it could happen.

To be honest, I've been rereading the entire thread this night. This was the first thing to stand out to me, even though Ive seen others quoting it. He did kind of talk me up a bit, and during d0 it didnt really seem to matter much. At the same time, he did have the most votes at this point in the day. Now that he was revealed as a wolf, I think it's much more likely that he wanted to seem more generous to town members, and maybe more neutral/negative towards his other wolf. I think he knew he had a good chance of dying d0, and wanted to make me seem suspicious by being fairly sure of my role.

Still reading through posts, will hopefully post more soon.
