I think Haku's post is pretty honest, I don't see the harm in putting his thought process out there.

I do think it's odd that Charu was the first person to jump on him for it though. Charu's post comes off as more "I'm going to criticize the way you want to play the game in an attempt to appear town by making a point that really has no point". In my mind that comes off as Charu hoping people would interpret his post as "Oh wow that Charu, already analyzing people's posts and mentalities, I'm going to lean town on him right now".

Discouraging reads and read philosophies is always fishy in my eyes.

We're at the beginning of the game and I'm waiting for my cue to have a clue about how to town read players and you give me this. It's difficult.

There's objective reasons as to why I'm concerned about your post. It has to do with you being concerned about appearing wolfy.

Trust me, my neighbors are a walking D A R E propaganda film who have a history of being arrested for meth; I'm 99% sure all of their income goes towards vices.

That strategy basically cost the human team the game last game I just hosted. Tokzic fake claimed a bunch of roles, Soundwave was under fire for shit, Nakah got killed because of it.

I think it's a decent strategy most of the time but the margin of error is so slim in this game that it's probably best to avoid any absolute policies.

I just want to remind you that I was town read by everyone in that game.

It didn't really affect the outcome of my own game as much as you would think.

The idea is that wolves tend to care about things that could make other players think they're wolves and town players tend to simply not care.

What was the intention behind telling us that posting a youtube vid later would make you appear wolfy?

I think this is your first game with Haku (unless you were reading everything he did last game, I don't know how he did last game)

Fine, I don't care if you think it's fishy, but it's true and Haku has shown multiple times from prior games that once he sees something that "makes sense" in his mind. He ignores all possible scenarios and stubbornly only goes for the ones that make sense to him without giving logical reasons.

This has happened the last game I've played with him, and the one before it, and the one before that one.

I appreciate that's he's open about it, but fuck me in the booty hole that I'm seeing he's, once again, admitting that he's going to do the very thing multiple players in the past have said not to do.

Garbage reads are worth putting out there because then at least it gives us something to analyze and connect with other people's analyzations.

Discouraging reads just kills potentially useful information.
