Ys 1 was a really solid couple of hours of gameplay for me, the vampire boss was literally the worst thing ever though. I was told to start in order if I wanted to play the Ys series, which is why Oath of Felghana and others have been rotting in my backlog for months and months.

How is Ys 2 compared to 1?
