Re: TWG Turbo V: No One Pretends to be the Seer Game Thread
Does that look fabricated?Ok gotta go now. The only person I wouldn't want to lynch tonight is Precarious.
These aren't reads, but just based on my feelings and perception of tone and intention provided so far, I don't like Haku, juckter, and R.E., in that order but maybe with juckter and Haku tied.
DFR needs to post more. He tends to post a good amount as town, and he's been conspicuously absent since his initial two posts.
I don't think I'll have a read on AA either way this phase, considering that I completely misread him last game. I'd rather wait for more info before trying to read him.
I don't know James May, so I can't come to a conclusion there either.

Re: TWG Turbo V: No One Pretends to be the Seer Game Thread
Wolfy and bad actually are (or at least should be) distinct, but in the absence of wolfy, bad gets used as a substitute. Bad can be either play that is anti-town in its effect, or mistakes/questionable logic in general. It's not necessarily true that these are indicators of a wolf, since a wolf will try to appear town, but because a wolf has extra information (if they know who they are, they know everyone else is town) and isn't actually trying to solve the game, bad and wolf intersect a fair amount of the time.
The most problematic thing about Shadow is that dishonesty is more wolfish than bad. Town is only ever motivated toward dishonesty as some sort of gambit, and that backfires as often as not. Wolves are dishonest structurally, so they'll lie elsewhere if they can benefit. Getting caught in a lie (for example, a fakeclaim) is usually a sign of a wolf, since town shouldn't be fakeclaiming (the seer stuff here not withstanding obviously). The quoted post above is problematic precisely because it speaks to experience--and comfort level with that experience. Mentioning epicmafia (and its community overmeta) so casually speaks to a level of familiarity that belies inexperience excuses.
TL;DR: Mistakes are bad, deception is wolfish. Bad can be wolfish, but deception is wolfish with a high degree of correlation.Comment

Well now with Haku's post, I can see why Shado's reply was valid because it's similar behavior. But regardless he was still dishonest about experience. I was owning up to my mistakes. Deception is wolfish, Shado is my top lynchOriginally posted by CharuSo I'm minding my own damn business, right? haku because he seems self-conscious, focused on playstyle and whether or not fake checks are actually useful
