I stopped and chuckled a bit. I guess I've always taken just how green things are for granted.

I've considered investing in a pair. I'm not colorblind, but I've heard that even non-colorblind people can see a large enhancement in color. It'd be a cool both for novelty sake and also for the various benefits of enhanced vision contrast.

"Today I saw color for the first time" LIES! :P As a fellow colorblind person, we've (me and you in this case) always seen colors.. We just couldn't distinguish them. False title!!!11!

Really cool to see your reaction though. I've seen other vids on these glasses and other reaction videos too. I really want to try a pair of these out. They are really really expensive though. I have this app on my phone that uses the camera and like a crosshair that tells you what color something is. I've used that a few times.

Actually, this is the perfect present for my friend. He sees colours a bit differently to you, so it would be interesting to see the difference.

His red = pink
green = grey (unless it's obviously green, like grass)
purple = blue
yellow = orange

I'm curious, is it protanomaly or deuteranomaly ?

Protan, so I couldn't see real green, red, yellow in a lot of things and green and reds would be brown. It's still really hard to explain what I can now see, but at first reds seemed like the biggest thing but after my eyes adjusted it became reds, purples, and yellows.

If you are considering getting these, i've learned from others it's literally a case by case basis on if it works. Some people it works amazingly well, others it doesn't help a bit. For me, it worked pretty well.

Try looking at a sunset when it's cloudy. They're quite beautiful, especially if it rained.
