they change the design every year and usually mirror the artwork, so no that wouldn't work unless you walk really fast right by a really gullible volunteer that hates their life and isn't giving a single fuck about their job of badge checking (I would know, I actually worked at AN for a year in special operations and I hated every moment of it)

Good to know. At my work I can easily proof any kind of design that is mirrored but I wasn't there for AN 2015 so mirroring 2014's will produce nothing. I'll save up instead.
^ This means that if you want a room at Sheraton (aka the coolest hotel if you come to the con for rhythm gaming), YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM -- YES, CALL THEM -- ON AUGUST 2.
If I actually end up booking hotel for the crew next year (still uncertain about all this), I'm just going to predict now that we're ending up at the International Plaza again. Ideally, I'd like to end up at the Radisson/Holiday Inn, but I've been getting fucked over every year since 2014.
I'll admit, this year having both hotel rooms on the same floor right across from each other was pretty cool, albeit the lack of beds and a fuckton of floor space for sleeping.
