Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. I'm still haven't decided if it's better or worse to not know the difficulty. But def a huge step up from last OT's D2 opener.

If anyone finds it easier than the D2 song, theys on the drugs. There is a clear difference in difficulty lol

There's a clear difference in density, and the ending bursts are harder than anything in the D2 song, but on average they actually felt pretty close. There's definitely a much larger skill gap than difficulty gap between D2 and D3, hence my comment.

The jump in difficulty in D2 from last tournament is huge, but no lol D2 isn't harder than D3

I don't expect someone from D2 to be able to handle the D3 song, but playing D1, D2, D3, it was surprising the jump from D1 to D2, and then not really feeling it on to D3.

I do agree with you on that, the difficulty gap from D1 to D2 is pretty hilarious.

only reason I played this file on mirror is because I knew right away when I saw the intro trills I wasn't going to get a AAA on a long [2][4] trill, still took a while the other way...
Aside from that it was ok, feels slightly off but maybe it's just me

Yeah Im a D2er - I can't actually play the D2 song at all without mashing. Feels bad man XD. There's many unfamiliar patterns to me or difficult patterns I can do on slower songs.
It's somewhere in the mid 30s I think which is out of my playing range XD.

Imma get to this later today or sometime tomorrow 891 arrows listened to song few times have not actually loaded fiffer as I don't want a mind block but seems like a first run SDG is possible.
