You assumed correctly as a host, only thing is you probably didn't notice that I reached D6 on the leaderboards a day or two before round 1 started. Not your fault. It didn't cross my mind to play those songs either so my apologies. If it's going to ruin anything you had planned or something similar, I'm cool to stay in D6. Otherwise the transfer is appreciated.

At this point, with a prize pool of over a million credits, I think it would be a good idea to switch to a "cascading exponentially" model.

Cascading exponentially
The way cascading exponentially works is that first place gets 1 share, 2nd place gets 1/2 share, 3rd placers get 1/4 share, 4th placers get 1/8 shares, and so on.
If a player has not won at least one round, such as by losing after a first round bye, the player receives no shares.

This way, first place doesn't get paid an insane amount and 9th place or worse still gets paid out a reasonable participation credit based on progress.

Yeah I'll update that. When I first made the tournament I only had about 80000 credits to put up, so I'll edit that.

According to that thing I only have 2 scores that would suggest D6 and that was a year ago, getting minimum teens on high 70s nowadays
Much better at getting stuff like 20-40g on harder songs (AA vs. AAA) /rant

Let me just mention how important song selection is in a tournament where PA differentials are being used to compare interdivisional players.

You don't want to have situation where Yoshi's Cookie is going up against T&J or something.
