I was like 14 or something, saw an anime, thought "that was cool", and couldn't remember how to spell it. Thus Shenjoku was born. I kinda wish I could change it, but it's attached to literally everywhere I go so it's kinda stuck now.

Like most terrible usernames, I was concocted from the mind of a teenage boy.

It basically comes from when I played this game: http://lotgd.net/home.php?

The dragon quite literally raped me, though only in the terms of a game: 'To be completely destroyed in a game, never having a chance or an attempt at beating the opponent(s).' I got the worst luck possible. Rather than let it beat me, I instead absorbed its power, vowing to instead rape those who might try to rape me first. Teenage boy logic at its finest.

Though the only two places that still have me as this are here and last.fm. For everywhere else I'm Nauticus, based on the character and song in the Pain Of Salvation album BE:

Nauticus is the name of a fictional space probe that is, according to the album, the most intelligent space probe ever to be created. In reference to the marine 'neighborhood', Nauticus 'drifts' throughout space, searching for answers to save Earth from itself.

I didn't pick it for the egotistical connotations of intelligence, but more for the lyrics in its song:

Everyone had such a good answer. Whether funny or just..well mostly funny.
Mine was literally I liked the band Blue October but had a break up in June... So I was pretty damn creative. Yep.. But now I kind of like it, no xXx or 1337 which I'm pleased about.

Mine comes from "I Can't Remember" by Alice in Chains. They're one of my favorite bands and the song is one of my favorite from them, just because of how powerful Layne Staley's voice is. I also like the sound of 'scuse the 'tude and it looks like my avatar (Ifrit from FF X) has an attitude lol.

i got banned on ODI (a community disappointingly few of you have heard of) so i made an account called lurker behind a proxy and went 6 months without posting

It's a bastardisation of a line in Piano Lessons, a song by Porcupine Tree: I come in value packs of ten. In five varieties.

I used to play a game on Miniclip with my dad called Couronne Deluxe (it's no longer there, but traces can be found around the interwebs, multiplayer version is completely out of commission afaik). Pretty much nordic pool simulator 2000, whatever. He would always criticize me of making shots too fast and being inaccurate, so out of spite I guess, I used the username "Rushy" and it stuck for all of my future ventures.

I then started playing the game Puzzle Pirates circa idk 2003ish, also discovered through Miniclip and there is where I met one of my long-time friends named froggyrulz (she ended up making an FFR account as well). We played PP and MapleStory and shit together for the longest time, and some time around 2005 we were playing RuneScape and I was also discovering FFR. My username on RS was just "Rushy" as well and hers was "froggyrulz", both usernames have since been recycled and there's some fucker that still plays today using the "Rushy" username.

I let her know about this cool new arrow smashing game called Flash Flash Revolution and we should make accounts and shit. In order to seal our bond of friendship, I used the name "rushyrulz" which is a combination of our usernames on other games. Every once in a while froggyrulz comes back to FFR and plays a few games and I say hi, but for the most part we are no longer in contact with each other.

The rest is history.

Usually I'd just use my name Lexi for everything but a lot of other ppl had it and i wanted to try something different. Mainly i got sweet angel from playing mmorpgs because my character looked like an angel and she was also a healer so i considered her "sweet" and also because its a short simple name that can also look good for logos, profile editing etc

it was my tag in battlefield 1942 when i was 10 years old
