Also why are you talking about giving Haku a 3 month ban on his first infraction when I only ever got a 2 game ban? I think YoshL is taking this a little too personally. It's not even like he used the info he got to influence the game considering Xiz, who had no OGI, killed him but whatever..just my two cents.

The problem is that if you get information that you shouldn't have, it makes the entire game become a new world where things that shouldn't happen can potentially happen.

It's like creating a new world with slightly different rules.

Just creating this new world automatically invalidate the entire game.

It's not even important what strategy was used or why it happened in a certain way.

What needs attention is what to do about the fact that it happened.

Cheating happened.

It contains:

- OoT/OGI
- Teaming up with someone on skype
- Making other players slip to give information

Like, I don't know what you did for your 2 games ban, but I'd be surprised if it had this many elements at same time.

I think the only reason why they hesitated with the ban itself is because I actually reported it and that I'm new in this environment.

If I was a TWG Veteran, I'd probably get permabanned no questions asked.

How I behaved with YoshL in general was also awful and did nothing to help the situation.

There's actually legit reasons to question what to do with me.

btw, if you really want my opinion, I suggest permaban for both of us. I feel like this should make everyone happy.

Also, you guys should check out the other parts in this thread. It's not only about me and rzr.

ban length seems ok, if not ok witg extending. both parties still trying to either justify cheating, or not showing legit any remorse/outright is being a cunt lol (only pretty much complaining about being caught)

sunfan asked for logs from rzr earlier regarding attempts to stop haku from talking to him. to my knowledge he has yet to provide.

I don't think either person should get perma'd. A game ban for a number of games, yes, but I don't think perma-ban worthy offenses happened here. If either player had a history of doing malicious things of this nature, then this would be a very different situation.

also @Xelnya, there had been a rules page rework actually almost done.

so @Hakulyte, you can claim that your actions "helped bring the issue to mod's light" but that's A) not a valid reason for cheating and B) not even true and C) still not a valid reason to cheat

again however, given the reactions of both rzr and haku, and continued reactions and conversations with people after this has already been brought to light, I don't think i support shortening the bans at all.
