Actually agree with both of these.

2nd one is just sheer plot convenience for when writers wanna be lazy

but the whole sexual clothing thing

And it's less about "over sexualizing" anyone for me. It's more about explaining how it makes sense.

Like I even see like a female character with their tits out and it's like

ok she has a rack and you wanna show it cool

some tighter lighter armor there would both make more sense, and accomplish the same thing probably

might as well tattoo "aim here since you're looking here anyways" to their chests at that point.

I can over look a skirt w/e because I dunno what wearing one is like seems like it might give some better movement, but still reveals more than needed it's dumb to some degree

You're capable of jumping up 50 feet in the air during spell/attack animations... but if you're just walking around on the map and you encounter a high platform or ledge? Forget about it -- you're taking the long way.

Similarly, you can destroy hugely powerful enemies... but can't plow your way through a normal door or fence.

I thought of an idea for a jrpg a few night ago and I can't stop thinking about it so I've decided to slowly start working on it, and I'm pretty sure I've never seen any video game with the same idea I have. I need as many tropes as I can find!

-The majority of the "biggest town" is unexplorable and is instead relegated to a very pretty wallpaper like scene where nothing moves.

-The goodie twoshoes character in the party has reservations about entering someone's backyard/fenced in area, and makes you get a key/permission to enter a house via some item quest. Once inside the house, has no qualms about looting the place silly.

-Obligatory masamune somewhere

-When you defeat a super secret boss, the reward is often useless by this point in the game (e.g. beating Ruby Weapon in FF7 gets you some Desert Rose thing that nets you a Gold Chocobo, which is needed to get the Knights of the Round materia -- but odds are that's the very materia you used to beat Ruby Weapon in the first place)

-One of your party members has royal blood / a special background of some sort, oftentimes revealed partway into the game

there can be some silly stuff for no reason, there doesnt have to be a reason for anything actually, but outfits like killa kill and gurren lagann(mainly Yoko) is more than unreasonable, it's unnecessary.
You can still do that if ya want, no one can stop you
look at what kojima did to Quiet(Tixijj) in mgsv,
"Quiet wore a minimal amount of clothing at all times because she could only breathe through her skin following parasite-treatment" (WIKI)
bruuuuh why she even need those ripped up leggings we know what you doin dont even try to hide ittt

also, second the masamune thing
you dont even gotta make it an obtainable weapon just throw it in there
