Play the level 99 song for three years every day. Play it several times each day. Then after three years, you will have mastered it completely.

if any new players are viewing this thread:
- Start in Dance 1, focus on getting Full Combo status, move up in difficulty until you can't FC
- If you can't FC it, skip it, then come back when you feel like you've learned/improved a bit more
- Familiarize with the different patterns through volume, because basically they keep reappearing at faster tempos as you move up
- Make sure you play across the different genres because they may help you tactically understand different step patterns that you might have missed by playing in only one genre
- Purchased and secret songs are worth spending time with, though you p much gotta choose one or the other unless you're a lucky gambler or you sell custom profiles for creds
- Take note when you can sense yourself in a skillboost uptick, since it often happens subtlely
- Don't be afraid of jumpstream
- Volume
- Useful perspective
- FFR Picture Dictionary to get an idea of common patterns
