My current skill level stands at about D4.
8th note jumps is dense jumpstream. to get to 29 nps, you assume 6 notes per beat. 29 nps/6 notes per beat~ 4.83 beats per second ~ 290 bpm jumpstream

480 bpm 8th note stream is 240 bpm stream, 4 beats per second with 4 notes in a beat, which is 16 nps which is probably more reasonable

    600 bpm 12ths = 450 bpm 16ths which is about 30 nps.

    -----

check your math again because being able to sustain 290 dense jumpstream is like almost staiain levels, as is straight 450 bpm stream lol
(unless i fucked up my math too)

Re: What NPS are you comfortable hitting?

23-24 nps, i can sustain 340 streams with relative ease maxing out at about 360 for moderately long streams (assuming patterns that aren't gay af) for short streams i max out at around 380. i can only sustain like 235 bpm js though nothing special in regards to that. low d7ish probably

Re: What NPS are you comfortable hitting?

i top out at around 260 bpm dense jumpstream, but for only small bursts (25-26 nps)
i think i can sustain 225-ish dense js after being warm (20-23 nps)

i'm not that good at streaming, 290 seems to be my limit for long streams for now, around 20 nps

Regarding my nps limits, these are my top limit, not my average (comfort) zone. In relation to the dense jumpstream, my top limit is the approximate BPM of Paranoia Survivor MAX. For the 480BPM 8th note stream, I used Valkyrie dimension's Challenge chart as a reference, thinking that it would have been 20+ nps, but I was waaay off on that. Finally, the 600 BPM 12th note stream, I was using Max. (Period)'s Challenge chart; however, I am not positive if that was 12th notes or not.

Anyway, my stream (no jumps, hands, or quads) limit is about 30 NPS, while my 8th note jumpstream limit is about 27-28 NPS.

on a more serious note, i can do a max of about 26 nps. not the best, but i think its decent.

edit: i mean on easy to read songs like future invasion.

Max. challenge chart is 600 bpm 4ths. that's equivalent to 150 bpm stream. (10 nps)
Paranoia Survivor Max is 290 bpm halved, because it's all 8th notes, leaving you with 145 bpm jumpstream. (14 nps)
Valkyrie dimension's challenge chart goes to 180 bpm 16th stream. (12 nps)

              30 nps stream is not d4, that's legit d7.

what you're claiming to be able to do is equivalent to this:

              this is 150 bpm 32nds and 48ths, or 300 bpm 16ths and 24ths (300 bpm 16th js, and 450 bpm 16th bursts)

and you're claiming to be able to do it on index.

For Max., I am referring to the new Challenge chart, which I do not know if it has 12th notes or not. With Paranoia Survivor Max, I am only talking about its top BPM. And as far as Valkyrie dimension's Challenge chart goes, I was referring to the 480 BPM stream, not the 180 BPM stream. My average NPS for 8th note jumpstreams is around 22-23 NPS (equivalent to Ignis Fatuus (DM Ashura Mix)'s BPM of 220); however, my NPS for streams (containing no jumps, hands, or quads) is about 28-30 NPS. I am usually stronger at streams than jumpstreams.

The other things aside, 220 BPM dense jumpstream is D6... With index would be lol. For perspective, Freedom Dive is 222 BPM jumpstream. What can you get on Reality? That's 260 BPM stream

Re: What NPS are you comfortable hitting?

                          can sustain:
260bpm 16th dense jumpstream for a good minute or so when i'm playing at my best
~280bpm 16th dense jumpstream in short bursts
360bpm 16th streams (assuming patterns aren't heavy on staircases, runningmen/anchors, mini-trills, etc.) for a minute until i burn out
~380-390 bpm 16ths in short bursts

so i guess comfy-wise i'd say 230-240 bpm jumpstream and 330-340 bpm 16th streams i'm comfortable at, which are mostly around the 22-26 NPS area

for Max. I'm also referring to the new challenge chart.

the notes clearly only ever happen 1 beat apart, and are therefore only 4th notes. they're quantized to 48ths, but the speed is 4th notes.

                              Paranoia survivor max's fastest patterns is 290 8th notes. that's equivalent with 145 16ths

Valk dimension's challenge chart is equivalent to 180 bpm stream, regardless of how fast it is. The BPM and what color the notes are don't equate to notes per second and density by the way, ignis fatuus's "8th note jumpstreams" converts to an equivalent of 110 bpm 16th jumpstream. that's equivalent to about 11 notes per second.

watch the video i linked in the previous post i made, and that's about 30 notes per second. your math is horridly wrong and you're delusional thinking you can hit 30 nps
