Also I outed because it'll drive me insane trying to keep my role away from town when I could easily do what I did and out and drive town into a victory; there was no expecting the rest of the players to massclaim alongside me like Freaky and Lurker didn't have to claim (Lurker should've at a later phase though) and Nawk did not have to out whatsoever and I felt Nawk played like a dick this game because he was set determined on whatever wincon he could do and it felt really out of place and not for fun.

I really have to try to keep emotions out of game because like YoshL said in an earlier post, I am heavily conceited and my ego gets in the way of the statements I am trying to present.

honestly Serial Killer is a fun role because I can still hunt wolves (which is fun and hard for me to genuinely fake) but I also can be deceptive

DBP on my end read almost godlike town status until I looked at the mystery and C9++ games recently and remembered it is way too easy as an anti-town alignment to hop onto the totem pole in the middle of town and not get heat.

DBP though had an incredible game regardless of dying

I don't see what's wrong with telling you to shoot and I can't see how it would come off as trying to get you to waste your shot/threaten you. I thought you had a high chance of being converted or killed so I wanted you to get your shot off in case this was your only chance.

ok so here is my line of thinking... (probably convoluted and hard to follow)

1) i have heat, i need to get rid of it. my role is a 1-shot that i dont need to be alive to have it effect the game. I claim.

2) plan: kill someone in the night so if i get killed or recruited im good (and hopefully kill the CL so i dont get recruited)

3) odds are 5/8 are anti-town so its pretty safe that i'll get a good kill no matter who i pick

4) you say "take the shot"

5) ok, yea, thats sounds like a good idea i was going to do that anyways...

6) wait... by me claiming vigi the woofs (and club) know i'm probably going to use it tonight

7) wait.... if the mafia know that im taking the shot tonight, its one less thing for them to worry about in the late game.

8) wait..... if the mafia know im taking the shot and have a roleblocker, they would just block me.

9) so... if they wanted to seem towny and get me out of the way, they would want me to use my kill tonight.... just like AA did... and AA would only know about a roleblocker if he was the role blocker...

10) Plan: Shoot AA. if he lives, lynch him.

the thing is, that logic could be applied to any one player in the game, not AA specifically. Any of them could have been the roleblocker.

that's basically the problem there.

storn, you assumed that there's a roleblocker, and you didn't look at the situation in another light.

you examined the possibility that AA was a wolf and said to yourself "yeah this is possible" and threw away all the other possibilities.

never once did you think "could a townsperson have said the exact same thing, maybe worrying that storn could be the nightkill target" or anything like that it seems

people have already said this but this logic is really bad. Would you have shot me if I had claimed inspector? Because I was thinking about it but even if I had, would you be able to differentiate that from a potential fakeclaim?
