I've always played on my laptop with its shitty kb and it's worked for me. But some keyboards have issues so it's different for some.

When I was in D5, I was using an Apple iBook G4 to play. Dinosaurs looked at it and went "damn you old" and yes it was a laptop. I started peaking in skill on that laptop using its keyboard (which had two dead keys where my setup was located) which bumped me up to D6.

The 10th Official started and I still used the same setup, further increasing my skill up until the last round when the laptop officially died and I could no longer play.

Since then, I was D6, now using a desktop (Emachine old and bad desktop lmao) with this $9 keyboard. I am now peaking up to reaching past the minimal border for D7 (87 missflag hrnggg) but I am also experiencing issues with my keyboard; such as not being able to properly input tight patterns which results in a miss because it never recognized the faster input.

What I am trying to say is that yes, every piece of hardware has pros and cons to it and it is constantly demonstrated on FFR (some players use unusual setups and PC builds). Before you blame or head towards an issue about keyboards, find out if it is you as a player or the keyboard itself and work from there~

Everytime I switched to a new keyboard I typically skillboosted a division... just sayin (not right away of course but once I got comfortable enough with it)

I do want this fixxed badly. Do your keyboards cause you to have to replay a song constantly because of its faults? Three days of grinding doppel and my keyboard never let me get past 1 x x 2 , but when the bs was stopped by the program, it took two tries.. I don't mind it at all when trying to just improve, but its so flipping hard for me to AAA anything when I easily could AAA many things and that is frustrating. Last OT I even got accused of cheating BECAUSE of my keyboard giving me boos averages and goods (called 0 framers)!
