a deep rumbling purple, the words that end in "s" sounds cut a bit into the color with a lighter purple. that affects the visuals stronger than the constant static, maybe because it's more strongly affected by the static itself. the lower bits get dangerously close to shadowy levels of purple, the threshold between dark purple/blue and black
