Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C5)

Off-night for FFR might be a good thing tonight after all. That 5th SDG was near-impossible for me tonight and I naturally SDG these regularly. Another Quality Pack please. Let's get bmah'd!

        >Integrated Challenge System
Measures/catalog the challenge through one of the 3 game engines
(Clarification: Challenge is to get a score of 54545, when you get this score it'll automatically give you the challenge complete)
~Receive your pack via a page which also catalog's current/past challenges, pick a pack you qualify for.

        >Trading System
Can be as archaic as the gambling hall system. Place your trade into the system or take someone's trade out. (Keeps everything open; possibly requires a verification notice to complete trade)

        >Actual use for the cards other than bragging/collection rights
Possibly give them some kind of use in an actual mini game that isn't entirely related to FFR (or could be; imagination I guess). Standard card games or something a little more unique (Triple Triad from FF8 for instance); the skies the limit (But it really needs an actual use if you want to keep the longevity of the idea).

        >Buying Packs (And an integrated achievement page that goes into same page you check for current/past challenges)
Credits inserted into buying a pack (X value) will then be used to distribute more achievements. Packs can be bought once per challenge week (or X period) and has a base price of X credits and can be increased however much you want (Let's say 10,000 credits). Inputting more credits serves no real purpose other than to gloat about total credits donated (among other things).

This will require a lot of programming; and can possibly be thrown in with the gambling hall section (IE: It'll die eventually and only a cult following will use it consistently)

        -Added Idea-
We could give people credits for just completing challenges (Let's say 500). Something as an incentive to pull new players in who feel like they'll be too far behind to compete

        >Balancing Idea<
A new player and someone who's been playing for 20 weeks and bought 20 extra packs shouldn't have a power difference of more than 2-3x (and/or set a low ceiling for end game optimization) when playing one of the games (or if the power creep becomes very apparent in X game design; set different leagues where cards of X value higher than that league can't be used).

        -Idea for Game Design Reward-
~Stake cards when you challenge someone (Winner gets to take a card of the loser). This idea will have to be revamped thoroughly to make it practical (to stop someone, for that matter the trading hall too, from making multiple accounts to trade in their cards to a main account. Same for the credit reward for completing challenges).
~Play battleship but with cards; place 5 cards of varying difficulty on the board. Higher difficulty makes larger "ships" but smaller ones are harder to find. Find a balance of difficulty to win (then someone just throws 5 D99 songs on the board and they just fill the board).

working on my SDG's now; I think my highest AAA was Shinryuu but i'll have to check

          Highest AAA is a 73.
Quality Pack please. If one of these doesn't count, please allow me to correct them before awarding a pack.

So I tried the first song and AAA'd it. Do I have to step up my game now? lol

            Tier 3 QUALITY PACK
And done; I was set on beating songs higher than Shinryuu; then I AAA'd a D30 song so there's that (I swear when it comes to just Stream only songs; I need to figure out how to hit multiple keys smoothly)

My highest AAA is The Prototype (Difficulty 50)
Edit: Here is the replay of the D50 AAA:

Eh. This score is good, but I can AAA this song.

Phew. Just barely got that one. My highest for this song is 6g.

This song is short, but hard to be AAA'd by me.

                Personal Best is 7g.

I would like to take the quality pack for 400, please.

I would not have enough credits for that, but I'm looking to allow Player to Player trades for credits though. Currently working out the logistics.
