Then that would give too much weight to later rounds because that's still where the most variation in scores are.

Like in the last round for example the best could be ~2g and the worst could be a mash FC that's ~50g equivalent. Even if the last place player were doing well all tourney, it could be something as simple as my picking a song that doesn't work to their strengths to destroy their total percentage.

edit: i say this one out of personal experience it happened to me before but it was in the second-to-last round ;~;

Last round was a bit extreme. If isaiah had raw score 5 (1 average on the song and quit), the ranking would be the same and he would get too many (12) points for posting a bad score (using the current system).
That's why I made a system that takes averages. It's something between the very first and the current system in.

You do have a point there. Also, I'd hope that people would have the decency to finish their songs =(

Edit: Yeah I might implement that one instead. Even in the case of isaiah it's not like 6 points is something he can't recover from.
