the reason against counting TGB is that the posts are low-quality, it's easy to post a bunch and so on

I'm going to take "quality" to mean things like detailed writing, elaboration of viewpoints, providing reasons for why you believe something, etc.

in practice, the difference between chit chat and tgb is minimal. people use slightly more hesitant wording here, but that's about it. (also, tgb should be a private forum you can get auto-added to when your account reaches 4 months of age, there is way too much groupthink when someone feels like they can be voted off the island)

so all of the reasons against counting tgb posts don't hold up. the vast majority of the posts on this forum are low quality, so you're basically restricting posts on the basis that one bag of garbage smells slightly better than another

I like how there's no option for "Activate one, but not the other."

I'm all for activating TWG post counts, but I don't care about TGB's.
I see it like level ranks/token ranks: Public songs/forums (TWG) count, "private" songs/forums (TGB) don't.

woah this is awesome!! I was expecting mine to be a bit more inflated than 1643 but this actually mostly gets rid of my issue. as long as I can see my own accurate post count and all of my posts i don't really care
