Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
krunky, how close are you looking to the receptors relative to the scrolling arrows? One tends to be more accurate when you actually look at where the arrows meet as opposed to mentally assuming where the arrows will be from the song's rhythm.Comment

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
My reading vision is smack dab in the center of the screen
EDIT: And I can't fo rthe life of me follow the arrows to where they meet lol it feels so weirdLast edited by krunkykai22; 10-11-2014, 02:58 PM.Comment

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
You're both reading properly, looking directly at the receptors is something you'd do if you're trying to read an incredibly slow scroll speed. Timing comes with playing more, it seems like you're just mind-blocked Krunky, try taking a break and get back at it on Monday/Tuesday or something lolComment

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
You don't look directly at the receptors, just close to it (just below it) - and a change of scrolling speed may help as well. But sometimes that helps if you really want to investigate why you get random goods. What you see is what you're hitting. If you look in the middle of the screen all the time, then "what you see is what you might be hitting". That sort of spacial difference can reduce interpretive accuracy, and when timing comes down to a matter of frames, that can make a difference.
edit: sometimes I might direct my eyes more left or right of the screen depending on where the arrow patterns go. If there are a lot of up and right arrows for instance, I'll be observing that side of the screen more closely for the time being.
All in all, that sort of active observation might help you, krunky.Last edited by bmah; 10-11-2014, 03:41 PM.Comment
