In D6. Should the first example either be AAA, +250, +10? or 2g, +200, +8?
If it's 25 per each mark off then 10g target with 2g score would end up being +200.
I changed my example, and I forgot to change that number, thanks for catching it.
Now the example demonstrates that if you tie your target raw score, you still progress to the next round.

No, the PvE stands for in this case "Player vs Environment." Whether or you survive is based on if you defeat the enemy/monster for the round, and if everyone survives, the player with the highest combined stats will win, and in case of a tie, the highest cumulative raw score will be crowned victor.
It really boils down to a cumulative raw score tournament with a system of eliminations based on stat gains and raw score targets.
