So how about we make it an option for the host to decide? I think that might be the best way to go about this.

But the rule should still be it has to be content-less because that's just common sense.

Voted no. Although I would be okay with contentless death posts, I've people manage to screw that up on occasion and I would rather play it safe. That being said, I don't view it as a major issue and don't mind it too much either way. And if people on FFR tend to do a good job following the rule, all the better.

Though a bit hypocritical, I would prefer having wills to deathposts, anyway, since it at least makes it reasonable method for relevant information to pass post-death if we wanted to view it realistically.

As long as the post contains no game information it's fine. Should it contain any the person should be given a 3+ game ban. That's where I stand on it anyways.

eh, if you're being lynched it makes sense that you can shout something game relevant as you die.

if you're being nightkilled not so much though. either way it's like a 1-2 game ban at most.

Yeah, this is why I have no problem with "twilight" posts of any kind. A deadmanwalking to the gallows could say anything from "oops" to "you're dumb, I was actually the seer!" And it could be a lie or the truth. Someone who was killed by wolves during the previous night is confirmed town because of it, so anything game related they might say would be trusted 100%.

So I guess what I'm saying is

Only lynched people should ever be allowed to post right after death. It makes sense that they could be able to say something as the town mobs and kills them and it doesn't break the game (unless flips are on, in which case any death post would need to be contentless).
